Superior Mortgage Supports Our Troops in Iraq - October 2009Superior Mortgage organized a Care Package Campaign for our troops in October 2009 which will continue on through 2010. The campaign was inspired by Cpl. Matthew Patterson, son of President of Superior Mortgage, Matthew Patterson. Cpl. Patterson is currently serving our country in Iraq with the Delaware National Guard 262nd Division. Below is a thank you note we received for our continued contributions:
Delaware National Guard 262nd OD
To Our Friends at Superior Mortgage:
Thank you so much for all the support you have shown the 262nd during its deployment to Iraq in support of operation Iraqi Freedom. The kind words you've shared and the items you've sent have directly contributed to the high level of morale of our soldiers. Some of the items that have been sent were given to the locals, the smiles on their faces as they received both necessary and comfort items are the kinds of things that each soldier of the 262nd will remember long after we return home. Other items that have been sent were distributed among the soldiers and have improved their daily lives and given them a ready reminder of what they have to look forward to and why they chose to step forward and volunteer to be deployed. The support of the public for the soldiers is not just a privilege, but an honor for each and every one of the soldiers of the 262nd. We wish to extend our thanks for all that you have given us and for keeping the home front strong and ready for our return. It means a great deal to me personally that Superior would reach out to us in such a generous way! God Bless You and God Bless America!
Sincerely,
Cpl. Matthew J. L. Patterson

Superior Mortgage Corp. organized a collection drive for The Ronald McDonald House in Camden, NJ. Ronald McDonald Houses around the world offer families a way to stay together, in proximity to the hospital where their child is being treated, and be comfortable and cared for during their stay. Due to the generosity of our employees, we were able to collect a significant amount of money which was used to purchase sheets, blankets, towels, pillows, microwavable breakfast and snack items, makings of pasta dinners, paper goods, arts and crafts for children, books, family movies, and so much more. The delivery was dropped off by our Human Resources department on June 16th. The Camden House provides accommo-dations for up to 20 families and was 100% occupied at the time of our donation.
